About me
Multimedia Designer & Artist + Film
photo: Hannah Effenbergerova
I'm Maria, Berlin based multimedia creative. During my studies in Art and Multimedia, I specialised in multidisciplinary approach to art. My passion for the moving images will not let me go.
Coming from UX/UI, brand & graphic design, I later moved on to film production & postproduction. I have worked with various art forms, interconnecting print & digital design, photography, painting, illustration, video and more whilst working on projects, productions, in startups and within an agency. And so I gained the creative adaptability of an octopus.
I am passionate about collaborating with bold people and constantly seek opportunities to create aesthetic & meaningful work.

ABOUT REGen
Today I use the name "REGEN" as a form of identity. It has multiple meanings to me, but here the story behind it:
REGEN started as a project to artistically deliver small, but meaningful stories from real life. The ones, which are so often overlooked by our quick-paced days. The intention is to talk about topics, which people might try to avoid. REGEN seeks to understand the truth in our lives, hand in hand with underground art & culture and the human expression of social movements. The name translates to RAIN, which symbolically falls on all of us equally. Few people are excited about it, when it rains, even though it is necessary and nurtures life on earth.
The name REGEN was also chosen in honour of the independent Russian television channel Дождь (TV Rain), which has been blocked and criminalized by the Russian government in March 2022 together with national freedom of speech. Since 2023 the channel is licensed in Netherlands and continues to deliver news, discussions, culture, politics, business reports, and documentaries, with most shows broadcasting live.
